Constance Bacon-As a kid I made a mean mud pie. Since 2001 I have been throwing pots at Mudville Pottery studio in Somerville. I use sgraffito techniques to make my high fire stoneware more unique and interesting. I paint slip or underglaze on the leather-hard clay, then carve through the painted areas to the base clay to create my designs. The finished products are food safe, as well as microwave and dishwasher safe. Medium: Pottery Website: www.cbacon.com
